      A slow cooker with flames in the background. The text reads "7600 Emergency Room visits associated with slow cookers from 2014 to 2016. About a third were burns or scalds from the heat of the device or its contents. Other injuries included: slips/trips/falls either on or against the product, tripping on the cord or having the cord pull the cooker onto a person, and lacerations from sharp edges."

      A slow cooker with flames in the background. There is text on it that reads, "4 reported deaths associated with slow cookers. In 2010 a 2 year-old was burned after pulling a slow cooker onto himself. In 2011 a 16 month-old was burned after pulling a slow cooker onto herself. In 2012, an 88 year-old man fell down the stairs and suffered a fatal blunt force head injury while carrying a slow cooker."
