We know this sounds simple, but when people get desperate they stop thinking clearly. They take risks that can have deadly consequences. If you know someone who is thinking about bringing a container not meant for fuel to get gas, please let them know it's dangerous.

Are your smoke alarms working? Do you have a working fire extinguisher in your kitchen? If you have kids, is your furniture anchored to the wall? Are your window coverings cordless? Do you have working carbon monoxide alarms on every floor of your home and outside sleeping areas?
