If you've lost power due to a #tornado or other severe storm, and you're using a portable generator, make sure it is outdoors and at least 20ft away from your home.pic.twitter.com/jY5JHQIB19

Danger. Using a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide - a deadly poison you cannot see or smell. Never use a generator inside a home or garage even with doors and window open. Only use it outdoors and 20ft away from your home.

I have a feeling that you're attempting to convey some important information here however I'm entirely unable to absorb it as it's not in meme format which you've conditioned me for!!! So idk make it into something where a sassy falcon tells a cave genny to get some fresh air.

        Potato, go!pic.twitter.com/mBoE9jbn8E

A picture of a dog named potato. The text reads: my name is potato. I have a message for storm twitter. We're ready. Flashlights have fresh batteries. Portable generator is outdoors and 20ft away from our home. Carbon monoxide alarms are fully operational.

My grandfather died from carbon monoxide poisoning about twelve years ago when the propane tank for his trailer leaked.

Really sorry to hear it. I’m always bothered by preventable death. Carbon monoxide is a far greater danger than most people recognize! Combine the fact that it’s colorless + odorless with the number of people who either have no detector or don’t check the batteries and DAMN!
