Dad was a nuclear physicist. His retirement hobbies were refurbishing handheld Geiger counters, collecting uranium glass, and building a prepper cache in the crawl space. Radioactive waste is embedded in my genetic code. Did I mention Mom's non-rechargeable hearing aids?

I saw a rhinestone on the floor oh my kids’ playroom (it fell off a costume crown) the other day and it looked so much like a button cell battery I felt my heart stop! It was still a choking hazard but at least not an esophagus-melting choking hazard.
