This is flame jetting. Flame jetting is a sudden and possibly violent flash fire that can occur when pouring flammable liquids from a container over an exposed flame or other ignition source. NEVER pour flammable liquids from a container over an exposed flame.

Yikes! I know of 2 incidents personally. One woman lost her life. The other one, waiter flambeing dessert decided to add vodka from the bottle into the dish. Woman set on fire, horrible injuries. Both also set the rooms on fire.
