Question: Why are they putting out a oil fire with water? It makes it worse. Why wasn’t a Class B extinguisher used?

Great question. Staff used water to show how trying to extinguish this kind of fire with a garden hose can make things worse. People tend to keep sources of water nearby in case of an incident, not realizing that the outcome could be even more dangerous.
