    Today, designated officials from the National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force, which arrested over 50 people merely for participating in an informal primary election. We stand with the people of Hong Kong.

    Do you ever wonder why there is an 11-week gap between U.S. presidential elections and inaugurations? Slow as that might seem, it’s shorter than the four months the Constitution originally left for the handoff of power from an incumbent to a new president.
