This was not caused by an automated weapon. So, Gun Control is not the answer. This is BULLYING at its' best. In my times, the injuries were sustained by the person being bullied, and the mental scars lasted a lifetime.

Now the first Victims are lashing out to their perpetrators (second victims). I just cannot believe that these parents and media cannot connect the dots to the bullying that happens in schools.

I remember looking forward to summer as a kid because it's fun. Kids today look forward to summer because they're less likely to get shot. This is unreal.

It's a fake debate. The current setup doesn't work. Period. Look at European countries. Copy them.

Which will last a few months, nothing will happen, another mass shooting, children will die, outrage will ensue, nothing will happen... and on and on.

If u want to seriously talk about safety can't start with guns. Doing that doesn't amount to anything and as we see today, wouldn't have stopped what happened today. Need to focus on stopping all violence not just gun violence.

If they want to make a killing, there are not only schools but also musical concerts, shopping centers, parties, sports matches, etc. There is too much violence and a lot of weapons. The weapons instigate to use them.

So what's the narrative here? He used a shot gun and a revolver, not an "AR-15". The father should be held personally responsible and arrested. These were his guns he didn't properly store.
-
The narrative is that it’s too easy to get these guns in the hands of crazy people
-
I agree there. That's the narrative that should be taking place, putting laws and safeguards in place keeping guns out of the hands of the wrong people. It won't work 100%, but it will help. Not banning particular weapons like AR-15s, that accomplishes nothing.
-
You don’t know that. Worked in Australia
-
Stop using Australia as an example. We are not Australia. It's not even close to being a similar comparison.
-
You are saying something won’t work without trying and you want to not talk about a place where it does work. Yeah that makes sense
-
There a several variables you're ignoring to push a false narrative. It also shows a lack of understanding of the situation Australia was in and the differences here in the U.S. that would render that solution not only dangerous but obsolete.
-
And yet regardless it has worked so you can’t ignore that fact either
