Kaitlin Bennett wanted to make a statement after graduating so she shared pictures of herself on campus with an AR-10 slung over her shoulder and holding a graduation cap emblazoned with the words "come and take it."https://usat.ly/2rPbrP7

What a sad display to the memory of those college students that lost their lives. This woman needs to read up on what happened. Then she should retake her photo.

Dear Andy. That is not a logical answer. Imagine everyone shooting at each other. Way more deaths. Get rid of the gun mentality.

Bad people have been bad people since start of time and they will continue. We don’t want drug lords to have drugs but they do and will. I will not let my family be unprotected. You will not take guns from bad folks no matter how many you lay down. It’s protection mentality

It’s sad that’s your mindset. But I pray you never have to feel scared or question the same people employed to protect you simply because of your skin color. I was simply stating there is need to parade a gun around a college campus during a graduation ceremony.

No it’s sad cause you bring it up when it was not even part of the discussion. Stop allowing yourself to be less by basking in it. I’m white, I have a 16 year old BLACK son who I adopted long ago, he never has ever been scared of white nor does he think like you in the least

white privilege, white supremacy, disenfranchisement & vituperous oppression is what has instilled fear for losing our lives at any moment. Most Black people do NOT bask in our legally sanctioned oppressions: in fact, we hate it! Which is why we speak on the overt racism & biases
