The governor of Oklahoma, one of the nation's reddest states, vetoed a bill that would have allowed adults to carry firearms without a permit.https://usat.ly/2rC3igM

I’m all for the second amendment but requiring a license is just common sense

This was a wise decision. I am all for right to carry but allowing that without a permit is irresponsible.

Simple Solution. Get a license. If you can't afford one or can't meet the requirements, a gun at this time is just not for you.

@GovMaryFallin has been a terrible governor. Politicians like her are so scared to let people exercise their freedom.

I agree. Any parent or parents, regardless of sexual orientation, should be allowed to adopt children

I care more about the kids and what is better for them. The bill did not disallow people of various sexual orientations to adopt. It allows religious groups to exercise freedom of religion when placing children. Nice try though.

I’m an NRA member, and I agree with this. If you want to walk around with a wepon, there needs to be some public confidence you’ve been trained and understand the gun your carrying.

That's materially false. AZ has no permit requirement, if you're not a felon you can carry. Zero problems.
