Two Native American students' trip to their "dream" university was interrupted when a parent called campus police because she was nervous as the brothers joined the tour. https://usat.ly/2jtUS7r

This is infuriating. This privileged-ass white woman felt the need to call police on these boys b/c they look different & wouldn't answer her fn questions? If she had an issue she should've brought it up w/the person conducting the tour. No surprise the cops won't give her name.

I wanted to slap her so hard when she said they didn’t belong there and that she felt sick !!!! They’re kids !!! I hope she sees all the angry comments about her.

I'm going to start calling the cops on all the white ppl that make me uncomfortable. The lady in the office elevator that grabs my hair to know what it feels like. 911. The guy following me in the store. 911. The white teens lurking outside the grocery with cookies. And 911.

Those students need to sue the university and the parent for every last cent they're collectively worth, tripled! It's only when this kind of filth finally becomes ruinously expensive for the perpetrators that it will finally stop, once and for all!

I've seen a pic of the boys, and there is nothing unusual about the way they look. I suspect the woman who became nervous has never seen a Native American person before in her life. #IgnorantBeyondBelief #StopJudging

the woman who made that call should chip in with others to give those two young men a free/pre-paid w/travel/meals all covered return trip to the CSU campus so they can have their tour. SHE needs to personally give an in-person apology to those young men AND their mother.

WHAT IS HER NAME? Police redacted her and boys' names from police report, but we now know the boys' names. What is HER name?? Why does she deserve privacy when she's the one who was unfounded and acted ignorantly, literally calling the young men liars.

This scenario here just enraged me. No brown skinned person can travel, or even live in the majority of States without being subjected to hate.

It really is scary the world we live in http://today.It  could have been racial profiling but their behavior didn’t help either. They arrived late, when asked who they were they didn’t answer, and one kept his hand in his big sweater pocket the whole time. You just never know

We're taught "if you see something, say something". I think this was more of a BEHAVIOR issue than a color issue.

So every time I see an awkward, quiet teenager, I’m supposed to call the cops? I’m gonna need the local precinct on speed dial then. But let’s be honest, this lady didn’t report any of the awkward, quiet white kids in the group. Just the Native American ones. So I’m calling BS.

She didn’t mention anything about their race until the dispatcher asked. She even said she felt silly for calling but she was anxious about their behavior. If you’re uncomfortable and somebody is acting strangely (even for a teenager) call just to be safe.
