When he meets with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, President Trump needs to seize this opportunity to call Buhari to account for allowing unchecked atrocities against Christians in his country. https://usat.ly/2raz8kB  (via @usatodayopinion)

Good news to know that the American people and their govt. are in the picture of happenings in Nigeria. but I still think this article does not cover in totality the GRAVITY of the state sponsored pogrom taking place in Nigeria. Pres.Trump needs to know who he's meeting tmrw.

Why this toxic take? Christians, Muslims and non believers are being slaughtered daily in Nigeria. Why frame it as just one particular sect is being oppressed very divisive.

Muslims were the ones doing the killings. The Muslims being killed are the Shias who were hated by the government in power

So you just made my point, but keep on going with religious division, Buhari will leave one day be it '19 or '23 but divisive rhetoric won't if it's egged on!

Buhari condoned the killings of hundreds of Shias in 2015 And is yet to authoritize the clamp down on the 4th deadliest terror group in the world ( fulani militia) so yes Buhari is the one killing Shias and Christians in Nigeria

The buck stops at Buhari's table. He's the leader of the nation. In Case you are not aware, Google the video of Buhari interview concerning the killing of Shias in Zaria and prove me wrong

Kind of hard to reprimand a country, Nigeria, when your own country, America, don't prosecute cops who kill unarmed black people.
