I’m not sure what kind of”victory” this is. No hearts and minds were won. A bunch of people are out of a job. City can’t collect taxes. No one gets to enjoy their great pizza any more. Everyone will have to go Domino’s now, right?
-
It’s a small town. Did you read the article? They got 800 grand and was popular until last month. This situation that Got them attention happened in 2015 with that stupid RFRA Pence signed.
-
Still No jobs. Closed building. Can’t collect taxes. No place to eat pizza. No hearts and minds were won. Oh - you are right - I guess it was a win for the lawyers. $800,000 won’t go far
-
Walkerton is a lot more like a drive thru town. And again they were having customers even last month so it’s more probably the people don’t want to do it anymore. Who knows. You’re assuming people just didn’t visit.
-
No, I am assuming they were tired of the hassle and the legal fees. I hope they move and start over. Walkerton residents will have to get frozen pizza I guess.
-
What lawyer fees? They weren’t being sued. Read the last paragraph.pic.twitter.com/aUIuUwmHiX
-
I reread the story, you are right. It is still not a win for anyone. They will have to move and start over. The left will track them down and harass them again & it will be thus until the end of their days. LGBT needs to win over hearts & minds. Bullying tactics alienate.
-
They haven’t been harassed since that comment right after RFRA passed. And wasn’t just LBGT it was residents. And that’s a big deal in walkerton. I’m from around there. It’s a small town. They hadn’t even been in the local news until this. 800 grand is a lot of money
