When is this horror going to stop? ALL humans need love and respect to flourish. The black population has been damaged throughout history in this country and it must stop NOW! Every human deserves equality.

What? I was unaware that there were positive aspects to losing ones freedom, rape, torture, forced labor, whippings, separation from families, humiliation, dehumanization and the occasional murder.

I think it's sad that we can't analyze things that are politically incorrect. While I don't advocate slavery, people have chosen it for themselves or sometimes parents for their children because of economic situations. Discussion is never bad. Silencing discussion is.

Omg - it’s not a choice when it’s the option and you have no protection against the cruelty & greed of others

I went to a school in Texas and had a teacher justify slavery and the confederate position. Pointed to me and said because of my skin color I would be a house slave. At the time I didn't question his authority on the matter. Smh.

What is happening in our world? Why not ask the real questions? How would you like being someone’s slave? How much should you cost if someone sold you? Would you want to spend the rest of your life serving someone else, and never having the freedom to have dreams of your own?

Texas has been working hard at re-writing history for many years..I’m surprised at nothing that comes out of there. So happy I only had to live there for a few years as, atleast in the 80’s, the racism was not only condoned but encouraged and expected.
