What an appropriate story to trend on #EarthDay: a mail carrier stashed away 17,000 pieces of unimportant mail (junk mail). If I was on his mail route, I'd be thanking him for all the hassle he saved me. The feds decided to file charges against him.

He should have recycled them too.

Maybe he was recycling them but saved up 50,000 pieces of junk mail to recycle at a time so as to waste less fuel? #EarthDay

Sadly that speaks volumes re the amount of pure junk mail sent unsolicited by marketers thru the USPS. Consumers should have an opt-out option or a "Do Not Mail Me Shit" List. What a waste of my time and Mother Nature's trees

I'd rather be the judge of what is and isn't junk mail when it comes in my door.

Thus my proposal that each consumer have an opt-out option or mail-block so the rest of us can avoid unsolicited junk mail and save the planet
