        I don’t think a child seat should be money out of a parents pocket. We don’t know why they’re traveling & money is always tight w/ having kids. That’s like airlines charging for carry on bags. Next they’ll be charging for wearing Fanny packs 🤣

        It shocked me that lap babies in the US were permitted without a restraint tether. In Australia lap infants are tethered to the adult seat belt. Apparently the US and Oz differ in opinion as to what is worse...head or abdominal injuries. Both agree car seat with 5 point is best.

        I'm for requiring all to be in seatbelts. Reduced rates tho, at least half price. That way baby won't be like a 🏈 being thrown & airlines up their profit.

        I’m skinny enough I can put 3 kids on my lap in the seat belt and still follow the rules of plane etiquette.

        Why should Parents pay for space? It seems to Me airlines need to create safety for infants.. some device to put on the back of the seat in front of the mother to strap a baby in akin to a car seat

        No. straps on back of seats to put a baby in so its belted in , in front on mother, ALL seats having such to use on the BACK
