The arrests at Starbucks raise a question: Is it ever OK to kick you out of a store? https://usat.ly/2Ha51o4  (Photo: AP)pic.twitter.com/bDvRlKHvbT

Well, yeah. If someone is just taking up space, or using your facilities, and not actually a "customer", it makes sense.

refusing to leave for not buying anything did you know that you can go to Starbucks and just sit there for a good period of time just yesterday I went to Starbucks myself and I set there and use their Wi-Fi and nobody said anything to me I didn't even buy anything from them.

I would imagine diff managers handle that diff. If Starbucks wants to be known as a place you can use restrooms, tables and wifi without buying then just get the word out. But most businesses will not allow that.

With all due respect; behavior has nothing to do with it. Business owner is well within his rights to only allow occupancy to paying customers.

Exactly. If I have five non-customers sitting in half of the chairs in my little coffee shop, that's 5 less chairs for actual PAYING customers. Anybody who thinks they have a RIGHT to "hang out" in a business without buying anything is nuttier than a fruitcake.

Biggest question; other than the two men involved being black; is there any absolute evidence leading to a conclusion that this incident had anything to do with race?

Love seeing liberals start to eat their own... It was only a matter of time and we are seeing more and more each day. Haha. Just a heads-up, Dunkin Donuts has better coffee anyway.

I never thought we were allowed to loiter in businesses. When did this become allowed? I don’t get it.

Thank you! I was beginning to believe that I was the only person left who was raised to know that you can't use a business's facilities without making SOME purchase.
