97% of you don’t have any interest in serving and protecting your nation. Money should not be a barrier in caring for those among who do and who have literally sacrificed their health and well being for the rest of you ingrates

Yup that’s helpful, I don’t understand why they can’t just do away with veterans clinics and hospitals and just let them go wherever they want whatever is close to them or where ever they want to go

In articles like this the point is often made that veterans have to wait up to a month for a doctor appointment. Just as a regular person I’ve occasionally had to wait 30/45 days to see a doctor. Maybe it’s not the VA but a doctor shortage especially in some parts of the country

Husband & I are both veterans covered by VA medical. Our clinic is 60 min. away & hospital 90 min. We're both in our 70's. The driving distance is becoming a problem and there is no public transportation available to either. Local hospital is 3 miles.

Privatizing things pd w/tax payer $ only increases our costs. All it does is line the pockets of a CEO. If we cut out the middleman (Ins co.) & had universal healthcare, the problem of funding the VA, Medicaid & medicare goes away. As does businesses having to provide insurance

Not surprised. That’s government-run healthcare for you.
