It's an honor connecting with #patients, promoting recovery toward as much wholeness as they can muster. However for #nurses, it's a tough gig without 'reasonable' nurse:patient ratios. Thus, we spend more time managing bureaucracy than giving bedside #care. Let's do better.

Until medical practice is centered on the whole person and not the procedures and tests that generate the most revenue, healthcare consumers will be poorly served. @BonSecoursRVA

The healthcare complaints we see are about the money - patients are continually worried because they can’t get a clear estimate of costs, are freaked out about surprise billing, and find multiple errors once they demand itemized bills. Not a very healing state of mind, right?

Wrong. Want to transform healthcare? Look up ‘high reliability’.

The healthcare sucks today. Its expensive and the @democrats are giving it away to their voting welfare.

No, single payer would be the “holy grail” in transforming our healthcare system. Healthcare doesn’t belong in a for profit model. Healthcare isn’t a privilege, and “access” isn’t healthcare.
