@MattBevin save your apologies to your self. If it wasn't your intent you shouldn't had said it in the 1st place. Sending thoughts and prayers to your future as a congressman. #votehimout

Apology denied. What he said was a Lie and slander, unconscionable by any moral or ethical standard. HE IS UNFIT TO REPRESENT ANY CONSTITUENCY.

Irresponsible. He should have been with us the first Sunday before first protest. Teachers and spouses spent the day bagging lunches and dinners for families on subsidized lunch programs. Our school kids were fed regardless of class being cancelled.

Until Americans begin to adamantly reject flat out lies from politicians I think it is fair to assume nonsense like this will continue.

It was not his intent, but it unveiled the dark sickness of a warped mind. Apology unaccepted. Resignation gratefully received.

I heard his original statement in disbelief. My response: you didn't want the teaching staff to strike, you should have negotiated their contracts well before it came to that. Teachers aren't babysitter wage slaves, they are educators. Why is this guy in office?.

He's in office because Obama derangement syndrome caused stupid a$$ people including some of these same teachers to see Bevis as little Trump and liked his nastiness and being a "businessman". He is an opportunist who is only out for his best interests not the people in the state

I think next year. He has virtually zero humanity. I applaud his adopted kids but his behavior and hostile attitude towards anyone that doesn't agree with him is egregious. Just like Trump. It's hell. He used Kim Davis to get national attention for himself. Opportunist!

Notice that he didn't apologize for his comments, he apologized "for those who have been hurt!" Not an apology at all.

Sorry doesn’t cut it. In your position that ignorance should have never come out of your mouth. If you can’t be the adult in the room maybe you should look for another line of work.
