What do we call a newspaper that uses its status to make partisan decisions to suppress news? This wasn’t just about killing a story to make space for more important news.

News? Nice to see people suggesting National Enquirer is news.

Only in the sense that they claim the title and also some of the privileges of news organs.

USA Today and other organizations are making it about the payments. This is widely known in media that they pay, and so do others, if people are being honest. Paying for someone to fly, hotel, food, and appear of a show is payment.

But isn't it unusual to pay for a story solely to keep it out of the public eye? It's basically as though they were creating NDAs via the Trojan horse of "journalism." It's not like a kill fee, where you are free to take your non-published story elsewhere.

The key is, it is legal? National Enquirer is not the New York Times or USA Today. They perfected "catch and kill." Kennedys quashed a story that was supposed to run in the National Enquirer, too. It was about Mary Jo Kopechne.

Yes, I too am wondering how legal it is, whoever does it.

Enquirer is known to pay sources and for stories. Likely many never saw the light on day. USA Today likely does not print every story that a reporter works on. You still pay the reporter. Freelancers do not get published, either. They sometimes do the work and never get paid.

SO? You can pay someone to say anything - BTW it does not matter how many women Trump banged - that is his personal business - You cannot, on one hand, say we must accept all sexual orientations and sexual diversities and on the other judge --
