Big difference between meteorology and climate. Ice core samples carry a lot of data and in some places measure back 1.5 million years.

You got “proof” of global warming? I didn’t think so stupid. And if you did, how about proof it’s a bad thing?

You demand I have proof, then you say proof is a bad thing. But you call me stupid and you still didn't deny my statement. I have a feeling all the proof in the world won't make you stop being intentionally epic levels of obtuse.

Okay captain idiot, I’ll play along. The earth is 4.6 billion years old. Please send me a spreadsheet of the daily average earth temperatures for the last 4.6 billion years so I can see if there is a pattern of concern.

Media needs to stop detracting from GW messages with arbitrary numbers like 400 years. Everything is "worst in 2 years, worst in the past decade." These arbitrary number mean nothing to people. It lessens the impact even more when that site is brought up again the following year.

"Mt Hunter Glacier, AK, the site of many historic climbs, is faced with record breaking melting." This entices people to see what the climbs are, what the records are, and shows what a loss that a glacier w/this history would be to us and get them emotionally vested.

So I guess global warming is keeping me from planting my crops that I usually plant on the 1st of April in Oklahoma because it won't quit dropping below freezing, right?

Biggest thing it does is cause weather instability, cold springs will still happen, warm springs will still happen: it's just that they'll happen more often than they used to.
