The general consensus is that you should speak to an attorney in hypotheticals and only provide information they need. You should never tell an attorney “I committed a murder, how can I cover it up”. The attorney would be an accesory to murder. Know your rights and the law.
-
The FBI and Law Enforcement routinely monitor communications of attorneys and use those communications to chase a trail down a rabbit hole. Hiring an attorney can be probable cause for investigation. Good attoeneys tell you to shut your mouth and aswer yes/no questions.
-
Bad attorneys can’t ask you to shut your mouth and answer yes/no questions since they probably cheated on the bar exam and are too lazy to read the police reports, warrants and indictment charges.
-
Not sure what is going on with President Trump but I’m sure the FBI had probable cause for the raid. They do not have to release information and details can be classified top secret by the FBI if it is related to the President.
-
If the raid is not related to the President the raid and information ontained can not be classified Top Secret but it can be restricted for access within the agency only since it involves President Trumps attorney even if its an unrelated matter.
-
In either case Federal Agents do not have to release information to the public. The public is free to observe the proceedings at court as long as they do not overcrowd the courtroom or create a nuisance for neighboring businesses and residents.
-
Federal Agents deal with matters that can have long term implications for national security such as schematics for nuclear weapons. Going back to the raid, FBI does have authority to restrict documents for an indefinite period of time.

Exactly my question. He and his clients [and I'm pretty sure the president isn't his only client] have been illegally violated by this action. The judge that issued that warrant [no matter who he/she is] needs to be "fired"!
-
If it's your question read the answer. Don't repeat the headline.

Attorney client privilege doesn't come into play when there is no client. By Trump saying he didn't know about the money, he threw Cohen under the bus
