Tired of the profession being deprofessionalized. Don’t act surprised. Your outlet contributed greatly to that. But teachers/kids will be the new largest voting block. We’ve been overlooked. Perhaps we are starting to see our own power. And when WE see that, others take notice.

It’s obvious. They are given a huge task to educate our children and paid peanuts. With republicans, education is optional.

Money isn’t “trickling down” & the billionaires who are hoarding it all and their republican protectors are seeing their plan come to fruition. They want to keep us dumb so ppl continue voting against their own self interests which means more money for them and less for workers

They’re tired of being paid so little. They are the foundation of a society, yet once those they teach & form become lawmakers, they get no respect or love in return. Those make laws where they get more money but those that helped them get there can barely survive.

Teachers want to be paid...Most haven’t seen a raise in many years, yet health insurance keeps going up. They have the hardest job around. Nobody knows what it’s like to control a classroom, most couldn’t do it for an hour. Pay teachers more or the strikes go on.👩‍🏫👩‍🏫

Now is the time for teachers to take a stand. It is not possible to continue indefinitely balancing state budgets on the backs of teachers.
