After reading the story in @TheAtlantic, these boys should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. They totally stood by and watched this boy die to protect themselves.

I very much sympathize with the parents also. But where does personal responsibility lie in keeping oneself under control? Were they forced to drink? Why is a 19 year old not accountable for his own choices? He was given alcohol...he chose to take.

Yes I agree but remember that fraternity memebers can be persuasive assholes. They can persuade upcoming members to do virtually anything in order to join.

I understand and I agree also in a lot of ways. I know he was young but it sounded like the boys charged were too. So sad but it seems like personal accountability is going by the wayside in a lot of situations. A parents nightmare on both ends.
