From the frying pan right in to the fire without a moment to waste ... do we have an app ready for the profile and data transfer so I don't have to re-enter all my private stuff again ... or will #CambridgeAnalytics do that for me automatically?

Instagram is everything that was great about FB except without all the drama and Politics and God crap.......

but it's owned by the same company....so it's still collecting all your usage data. How long you look at a picture, what you like, who you like.

True.....but I've long given up on thinking there's any 'privacy' so I'll take the option void of all the politics n religion and stupid quizzes and share this post or else garbage......that fills much of FB.

The entire point of this is that maybe it was a bad idea "giving up" on privacy. When it can be used in such a dangerous way. The point of this current facebook row is that we need to go back to a day when we did care about privacy and not let people like Zuck guide our future

Unless powers that be make it happen I highly doubt 'enough' ppl flee from FB/Instagram to have any noticeable impact......

Happy to give them all their personal info then they make a beeline to give all their actual photos, real time locations, etc etc to the exact same company...like they aren’t going to do the exact same thing...lol Social media is a dying trend.
