So...now...let's discuss how many lives were saved because an ARMED officer was INSIDE the school and was able to neutralize the shooter. I bet this doesn't get any attention it deserves. POINT MADE HERE

I think the sadness here is any school needs an armed security guard

I agree with that, but this is the society that has been developed in the last generation.

Ummm, I think you’re confused. The narrative began and is about another mass shooter with access to guns. Thanks, NRA. #NRAGOPbloodontheirhands

Another student with a gun! WTF! And yes it’s good that there is an armed school officer and actually did his job! #gunviolence

If only the student never had a gun to begin with. But as Rethuglicans always say, only a good student with a gun stops a bad student with a gun. So arm all students?

Note: assault weapons were probably NOT used by the shooter. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, we would have seen many more dead and/or injured otherwise.

He had 2 handguns, one in each hand. One was, like the Maryland shooter as I understand, a Glock. If he had an AR15 I highly doubt they would’ve lived. We know if ifs and buts were fruits and nuts we’d all have a Merry Christmas though.
