Now they have to decide what to do if he pleads guilty, go for the death penalty or give him life.

“Would be willing to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty” ... how stupid is that?

It would save the families of the victims from having to relive this in a trial. It's not stupid.

I’m saying it’s stupid that he can avoid the death penalty by pleading guilty.

By allowing him to avoid the death penalty they keep the 'families' from having to relive the day their loved ones were killed. in a dragged out trial. Second, he could plead mental deficiency and he could win with that defense.

And I’d suggest you stay to one point when replying, considering your first tweet said it would avoid the families reliving the day through a TRIAL, without any mention of the death penalty exclusion.

What did you think I meant? By pleading guilty it would avoid a trial and having the families relive that day.

Death penalty has been around forever and it's never been a deterrent.
