What if that’s just what they’d like to wear? Why do you assume that women dress only to please men?

Clothing isn’t consent. Stop with this bullshit Puritan nonsense. Let people wear what they want.
-
You miss her point. She's asking us to analyze why woman want to wear revealing clothing and men don't feel the need. She says nothing about clothing equaling consent.
-
You assume all women dress the way men want them too. You are assuming a lot. Perhaps they want to be proud of their body and feel comfortable. I say leave it up to them and don’t shame them for dressing how they like.
-
I was responding to a specific comment that referred to sexuality. I said nothing about being ashamed of it - you are equating sexuality with shame. I'm agreeing with the article asking the question of women dress scantily more often than men. It's an intriguing question.

It would be an interesting study across cultures, which would Vary between the sexes.

Exactly

And does one consider that women's loose dress may be the result, in a way, of men abusing their power? It could be both-and.
-
If a man is going to abuse a women most times it doesn't matter what she's wearing

So it is a man’s fault when a woman chooses to dress provocatively...hmm. So many of our current problems are being diagnosed in every context except the one that counts - personal responsibility.

Please. How about we let people dress like they want without making up stories about why they sub consciously wear them? Complete fluff piece working hard to manipulate and divide people.

What gives women value has nothing to do with appearance and that's what too many men still don't get.

I dress to please myself, well that I what I truly believe. I don’t wear high heels and confort is the main element of decision. 1/

But still I agree that our clothing decisions are influenced by the way society has emphasized on our http://sexualisation.So not totally untrue.
