Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said his feelings changed when he felt the NFL demonstrations became protests against "support of our country or the military."https://usat.ly/2oShP6L

As we have seen over and over in the past year, this is a deliberate mischaracterization of the issue in order to avoid speaking about the real problem of inequality in our justice system. When someone does that, their motives need to be questioned.

3 yrs ago, Tamir Rice, a 12 year old African American boy was killed by police for carrying a toy gun. Multiple other POC have been killed at the hands of the state. Players kneeling has nothing to do w/ Troops, The Flag or Anthem & everything to do w/ equal justice for all

these idiots don't realize that the vast majority of veterans aren't offended by this, because WE (myself included) understand freedom of speech isn't an attack on us; the idiots who claim this offends us haven't asked us

it amazes me how these rich powerful owners won't support the very people that help enrich them. Without the players they wouldn't have a viable league. I'm not sure why these people feel they have to control something so insignificant as standing for a rascist song.

so he's changing policy because his feelings are wrong regarding the protests. It's been stated time and time again, it's clear what the protests are about, yet he's still gonna change policy on a wrong "feeling" Bullshit. Somebody got to ole Stephen & gave him orders.

Another rich old white man speaks without trying to understand the issues at stake. It is because they love this country and want it to be all it can be that they knelt. Got it?

Does it matter WHAT the protestors were protesting? Why is it up to him what a peaceful protest, an action protected by the constitution, focuses on! People, you are all missing the point of the issue here! It’s not up to Ross WHAT players can or can’t protest!
