Trump won the election by promising blue-collar voters in Midwestern, steel producing states, that he would get tough on imports. Now, he’s making good on that vow.https://usat.ly/2FZFg6l

Yup, Steel will go up by 25-30%, so those same workers, who *might* get a small raise, will now pay 25% more for a car and 2x for a washer.

As the US is the largest economy and our citizens are the most materialistic, we would certainly loose! Of course, it won’t effect Trump@and his rich friends, but will certainly hurt common people.

This is a tough row to hoe but it's the only way there ever might be a chance of reviving manufacturing and the good jobs and everything else good that goes with it. No pain, no gain.

Trump is a buffoon, using this tariff nonsense to affect NAFTA dealings! this clown doesn’t realize, is his words affect stock markets worldwide....If he wants to kill NAFTA, then kill it and the world can deal with this change. China sells no steel to US.

From my experience as owner of small seed company, China is out of control. One of our varieties, they stole, use my description, my photographs, my trade marked varietal name. And sell to wholesalers for 1/2 price. Yes growers save money. We lost 1/3 of our income.

Trump’s method of handling the steel trade is not going to make anything better for steel workers.
