Too much time being dedicated to low level non violent drug possession

Actually, they were following a Broward County policy not to incarnate students so that they would qualify for grant $$. The whole system seems to be rotten to core.

Yeah well too much time and treasure are used to bust incarcerate and then prosecute marijuana when real crazies need more attention

Agreed and I don't care if they ignore kids with weed (dealing opioids is another story) but grant concerns should go out the window when a kid assaults someone at school or brings ammunition to school. This shooter did both.

Well kids shouldn't be doing drugs period but the criminal justice system should reprioritize and focus on violent offenders

Except the policy to let teen offenders slide by for more monies meant ignoring more and more violent offenders. It was everyone from the kid smoking pot to the kid doing an armed robbery that faced no consequences

I wouldn’t say signs were ‘missed’ by law enforcement , it was a refusal to act by law enforcement.

They said a kid cutting himself on Snapchat wasn’t a danger to himself and his regular threats of violence and calls for a gun didn’t make him a danger to others. What good were the laws if no one followed up on him? They act like turning 18 means anything age 17 and

The government’s failure to protect citizens is outstanding. CPS and DCF declares the kid mentally ill yet didn’t add him to any lists or take precautions.
