        Lesson from Columbine: engage the shooter. You don't have to win the gun battle, you just need to avert his attention. Also Jeanne Assam DID take on a shooter armed with an AR15 in the New Life church shooting with her handgun and won.

        They do, do you know what the SOP response is to an active shooter? Ever trained in that response? My guess is no.

        I'm simply saying before u jump to conclusions wait and see.. some agencies require a certain number of people to be on scene prior to entering a building.
