The Florida school shooting has renewed the focus on gun laws that allow courts to remove guns from people who are mentally ill. These "extreme risk protection orders" are in place in four states. https://usat.ly/2ER7BgV pic.twitter.com/4nRXJRRArn

The entire nation should blue. Anyone labeled “extreme risk” should not have guns.

Sounds good until u realize Leftists want "mentally ill" to be described as "Anyone who identifies as Christian & claims to speak to Jesus"

"extreme risk protection orders" should be considered across the nation.

What is the standard? Who determines if someone is mentally ill? There are many different degrees of mental illness from mild anxiety to homicidal ideations. At what level do the courts remove firearms or is it at any level? Very complicated issue.

What sane country would allow mentally Ill to have guns in the first place ? Unbelievable. In any event such a focus intentionally diverts attention from the basic and obvious problem of the most proliferative and irresponsible gun laws anywhere in the world. 🇬🇧

"Due process of law" is incredibly important. Each side to be heard and an impartial decision rendered. This defines us as citizens of the United States of America. Greatest nation on earth. It isn't just about guns.

I personally think every libtard on the left coast is an "extreme risk"..... who decides who gets their guns taken away??? sounds like another liberal programs to expand government to infringe on our rights...

Quick question, should we also take a hard look at video games that glamorize killings? Did this Parkland HS "mentally ill" shooter play these killing games?

What's going to happen if a mentally ill student blows up a homemade bomb at school? I think many more students would be dead. Just wondering if guns are the problem or mental illness?
