We’ve had guns for 200 plus years...we’ve had an increase in mass shootings only recently...what changed? The breakdown of the family unit, loss of morality, social media, isolation, violent movies/music/video games and psychotropic meds.

Tough question. One thing that can be done is for parents to parent. Too many times I see parents let everyone else parent their children (schools, coaches, friends, day care, etc.) and not take the responsibility. Parents need to step up, kids are the next leaders of our country

Anyone who is wondering that, look up the term “wicked problems.” It’ll explain why this situation is difficult to solve due to changing variables.

Ban semi-automatic assault riffles. No need to question. Just do it!!!

That won’t prevent anything. At Virginia Tech, shooter killed 32 with 2 handguns. Why? He had time. No one on campus was armed and were sitting ducks. Fort Hood 2009, same thing. Killed 13

You never hear of a person walking into a prison shooting inmates adopt a similar system the lives are worth it
-
Schools aren't prisons..
-
That doesn’t take a pulse to understand rather than stating the obvious why don’t you chip in on the synapses
-
Well for starters get more school psychiatrists and counselors...non intrusive and non lethal ways to intervene before kids even pick a gun up because when they're in the parking lot loading up the gun, it's already too late..
-
What about architects they design buildings maybe they can incorporate safety and security as well
-
Maybe but that usually requires levies and bonds on your property taxes when you do infrastructure.. usually bonds.. people aren't too Keen to that..maybe I don't know.
-
So there’s a value unfortunately placed on life
