There will always be pros & cons, but with obesity, diabetes & other health issues on the rise, it is atleast something that could be beneficial. Is it better to try nothing? If health is what young people value, perhaps businesses will start changing to accommodate that need!

Clearly the person who you interviewed was not familiar with WW. Key to freestyle is allowing enough free foods, high protein to allow someone to eat until they are full..combine with exercise and mindful behavior and lose weight. It does not prohibit food, quite the opposite!

I hate the way the ADA now is counting carbs as their main source of calories. when I first became a diabetic when I was 15 1/2 it was a diet of protein starches and veggies. in certain portions. the carb counting is crap. just saying need everything in moderation..
