There is a new voice in the debate over gun violence. It is poised, passionate — and young.https://usat.ly/2C2982N

So proud of these vocal, passionate, well-spoken students. They make grown politicians look like senseless baffoons. History will remember them as change-makers. Speak, act, and stand your ground!

Feeling like kneeling during the anthem threatens patriotism is pure emotion too. It goes both ways, except in this case kids are dying and families are being ripped apart.

It in no way threatens my patriotism. It increases my patriotism. Pure evil is what ripped these families apart.

A failure to enact better school safety laws and better gun laws is what ripped those families apart. If we had universal background checks, the shooter would have never gotten a gun.

Why are gun enthusiasts holding on for dear life for these types of weapons? Why is it so threatening ARs are banned? There is more care for an insipid gun right than there is for human life. Pathetic

No there is definitely a problem. My personal belief is it is a God problem. God has been forced out of to many places in this country. Leads to the breakdown of the family. Allows evil to take hold.

Nations with less shootings are WAY less religious than the USA, your point is incorrect. It is a gun problem.

And our churches. And our movie theaters. And our concerts. We already own more guns than any other first world nation. By that logic, we should be the safest country right? And low gun owning countries like, Japan should be the most dangerous right?
