Wow USA Today, you don't give up misleading people! What Trump repealed was a rule Obama made that anyone on Social Security Disability whose payments go to a representative payee, can not buy a gun.

https://www.snopes.com/trump-sign-bill-revoking-obama-era-gun-checks-people-mental-illnesses/ … Read and know for a fact that Trump made it easier for people who are mentally ill to obtain a gun. Trump said the boy was mentally ill, meanwhile he paved the way for him to have access to it. He has blood on his hands!

How? Was Cruz on Social Security Disability? No. Did his SSD payments go to someone who handled his finances? No. The shooter has mental health problems but he's never been on Social Security Disability.

Really, that is your come back, he wasn't on SSD for mental illness? He is clearly mentally ill & had access to guns, & not just a rifle, but an automatic weapon! Trump made it easier for the mentally ill to gain access to guns, including AK-15s. He made us all sitting ducks.

He is mentally ill w zero official records of mental illness. Why wasn't his mental illness on his record when a background check was done (he saw a psychologist last year)? Because no records were turned into police or FBI. Better record keeping is needed.

Funny how you keep side stepping the fact that semi automatic rifles are available to the mentally ill, how absurd is this or okay? Its not hard, get rid of these weapons for civilians = no mass shootings. Then paperwork, recording keeping, and other people cannot be blamed.

Oh @POTUS - your decisions do have consequences. Your decisions make you responsible for the successes and failures during your watch. The increasing use of guns and the advocacy and tolerance for violence is your failure. Your responsibility. Will it be part of your legacy?

The 2nd amendment allows everyone right to have firearms. Again, it needs to be modified to allow only weapons that do not cause instant death. Firearms should only be used by military.

The 2nd amendment is outdated. It was written for its time period.

I remember him having the support of the ACLU in protecting the rights of mentally disabled individuals to manage their own finances...because THAT is what actually happened. Stop promoting inflammatory lies.

MOMS OF US, when you vote this fall remember the first thing @realDonaldTrump @marcorubio @SpeakerRyan did was overturn President @BarackObama law BLOCKING the mentally ill from getting guns. @wisgop @GOP @GovWalker signed a law allowing 4-year-olds to possess an Assault Riflepic.twitter.com/OCM3POXXFr
