People die EVERY DAY in #America because they can't afford medical care or meds. Shame on the drug companies. Too much is never enough for these criminals! Inexcusable that the govt of "the greatest country on earth" refuses to offer ALL affordable #Healthcare. #MedicareForAllpic.twitter.com/qutJ3GeleZ

@usatoday This is irrespnsible at best. Tamiflu is not a cure for the flu, just provides some relief of the symptoms. How about doing some basic research instead of using a woman's death for headlines or an agenda. #repugnant

Yea except the fact you can ignore this story entirely and it’s still a reality that people routinely choose between medicine or debt every single day.

You don't know all the circumstances from this report. You can not judge other than she choose not to buy it because she felt is was too expensive...... you do not know the personal finances or what type of person she was.....stop it. May she rest in peace.

HER HUSBAND BOUGHT IT THE NEXT DAY. This headline makes it seem she made a eat or med choice. Not true. The meds didn’t help

You need to take Tamiflu 24-48 after symptoms start. How long did she wait? I had pay $183 for tamiflu with insurance. #humanasucks #nursewithshittyinsurance

That’s horrible! Im so sorry for you! The sepsis seems to be coming on awful fast for the patients that do get it. I don’t know if the tamiflu would have helped at that point.

But again, the headline makes it sound like she died because she didn’t get the medication and I don’t believe that’s what happened at all. Doesn’t sound like it to me especially if she did take it in the window of effectiveness.

But she did not take it within the 48 hr window. Her first symptoms showed up Monday. She only took the meds on Thursday. That makes a huge difference in effectiveness
