I know it’s a thing to demonize sex workers, but if you knew open, honest, hard working, ethical sex workers you would feel differently. The black market makes it worse and more dangerous. Decriminalize it and bring it into the light. Help the ones that need help.

If they are willing, why are they paid? How many have college degrees or the opportunities to do something else?
-
Does that mean that every person who brings home a paycheck is forced to work? They are paid for services rendered. Many actually enjoy their work. It’s a shame that it is criminalized, leaving an opportunity for the exploitation of the unwilling...
-
No, did you read the second sentence? How many girls CHOSE this as a profession? When I grow up I want to be a prostitute? Ask next time, after you’ve paid.
-
Everyone has the opportunity to go get a college degree or do something else. Slavery ended in this country many years ago. We all have the ability to make our own choices.
-
Babies born to drug addicts go to college? How does that work? Minimum wage workers? Save how? Slavery is called minimum wage today. It use to be any FT work was rewarded with a living wage. What planet are you living on?
-
Earth. You think people with druggie parents can’t go to college? What criteria do they fail to meet? Minimum workers can save by living below their means, just like every other level of income. Your “living wage” covers many non-necessities.
-
Sure anything is possible. But you seem removed from how remote these possibilities are. If parents model drug abuse, how do kids get to school much less graduate? You are out of touch with reality.
-
Kids get to school on the bus or by walking. Children of addict parents are often more mature and self reliant than their peers. They’ve had to care for themselves and or siblings from a young age out of necessity. Sure it’s not the ideal upbringing, but not everyone gets to

It’s pretty easy to find independent providers who enjoy their work. Most men aren’t shopping the red light district...
