That's ridiculous! The Statue of Liberty is just what she says she is. Liberty. Since when is freedom political?

Well that's little over reaching, I mean it was a gift to the United States an individual political party did not make it.

Then why do they allow our flags? Lady Liberty is a symbol of our country just like our flag!

Why? I protest this decision. Every country has right to use its symbols
-
Though one can see why the rule is in place. What if it’s the swastika or the isis flag? It has to be consistent across the board with no gray area so as not to play favorites.
-
Statue of Liberty is recognized and honorable symbol. am i get it right? Are you comparing this symbol with iss flag? Rules shouldn't be biased interpreted
-
Yes, the Statue of Liberty is a positive symbol. But, if they only ban some symbols, they get into murky, policized battles that the IOC isn’t qualified to handle. If it’s a sweeping no symbols ban- keep it to flags only, it would be easier to enforce.
