So she wore Michelle Smith's gown, but whose face did she wear? That's the question.

Beautiful portrait but doesn’t really look like her. Where are the toned arms, more defined cheek bones and smile?

Wow just read an incredible article on the artist! Again i say beautiful portrait but now I understand the choices made for the art and I think those were amazing bold choices. Luv it.https://www.google.com/amp/www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/arts/bs-fe-obama-portrait-amy-sherald-20180208-story,amp.html …

I must admit I knew more about Wiley's than Sherald's work so my initial thoughts were similar to yours until I read up on her a bit. Then it all made sense.

Yes it's 100% accurate. It's fake. It's a portrait of a fake person. A portrait ideology not an emotional being. A portrait of a person who tells you what you want to hear, feeds you rhetoric and who is merely a puppet. This is a portrait of a false idol. #MichelleObamaPortrait

I think the portrait is beautiful, however, I don't think it looks like Mrs. Obama very much.

It doesn't even look like her. The artist is not talented.

Amazing how your headline is so positive about Michelle Obama, striking! 😂 what we have is a striking flotus in the White House now but your hate won’t let you admit it or report on it! Pure propaganda!
