I used to work for LL Bean’s credit card processing division and got wrongly-directed customer service calls all the time. I can only imagine how pissed the old ppl will be now that they can’t return their 30-yr old coat lmao.

Honestly I think it’s more of an excuse for them to lower quality. There have always been some taking advantage of any policy like this, it’s not like that’s new.

I bought $165 pair of boots from them and when I returned them after they got a hole 4 months later they refused to take them. So I asked for a manager. Didn’t know this rule even existed or why should of I had a hard time returning them??
