Congrats to all! I do find it odd that this story, and most like it always talk about oppertunity and proving points. What about whats best for the military?Especially in Infantry units. (Marine Corps and Army) The real question is does he or she make their units more affective

Women in combat was tried in the 1970's and also in the Israeli Defencs Forces and it was a collossal failure. Why rehash this?

If they ever end up in combat, the enemy won't adjust tactics due to the sex of soldiers, so why would training be different for women?
