What happened to the Stop button?
-
An MRI machine has a very strong magnetic field that is always "on". There is no stop button for it. As long as the magnet's electrical circuit (it is an electromagnet) is kept immersed in enough liquid Helium to keep it superconducting, the field will be present.

Thanks for the info
@Heterocatalytic . I had an MRI years back and I thought that there is a stop button to it.
