@TheLibRepublic Maybe if there was armed security at schools tragedies could have been avoided should have been done yrs ago.

So the first thing children should see every morning is a bunch of heavily armed men? How will this help? Maybe guns being the norm is what caused the problem in the first place

I’m not sure that being surrounded by armed guards would make anyone feel safe or secure. Maybe knowing that not every crazy could easily get their hands on a gun would be a better solution?

Outraged #Liberal #politicians are once again demanding sensible gun control. The FBI reports that last year rifles killed 374 people, knives killed 1,604, & 656 were beaten to death. Sensible knife & fist control must come first. We MUST stop knife & fist violence NOW! RT

That's more fake news. The pro gun control sites are extremely dishonest. Seehttps://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2018/02/16/parkland-school-shooting-no-there-have-not-been-18-school-shootings-already-year-column/343100002/ …

The chances of dying in a school shooting should be ZERO. Why are you writing headlines to diminish the severity of this situation?!

This doesn’t make me as a parent feel any better. I can control what my kids are doing in a pool and can keep them safe. I am not at school with them to be able to keep them safe. This is a terrible comparison.

How many more times is a "young person" in the US likely to die at the hands of a gun compared to a "young person" in Australia or Japan or UK or New Zealand or Canada? That's the important comparison.
