        Such an amazing will to survive. The owner's brains had to be on autopilot for not watching over her blind dog more attentively, let alone in freezing weather.

        It just "kills me" to know that [far too] MANY dogs, cats and other pets/animals are left outside ON PURPOSE in these frigid temperatures; I just can't wrap my mind around that level of...oblivity(?). 😞-"Out of sight, out of mind" is NO excuse.
