An undocumented family member brought Jorge Garcia to the U.S. when he was 10. Today, he has a wife and two children, all of whom are U.S. citizens.https://usat.ly/2FIECt1

You are incorrect. It states that his wife is a us citizen. There is a clear path for an undo cumented immigrant to apply for citizenship once married to a US citizen.https://citizenpath.com/

Read the article I posted. It is specifically written for illegal immigrants. 4 paths to citizenship. 1 of them is marry a citizen.

You’re right you’re confused. He was not eligible. I can’t possibly explain it again to another person who doesn’t give a damn about finding out why. The outcome is the same. I sincerely hope you’re seriously curious and will make the effort to find out.

Why eligible? My sister in law became a us citizen in less than 10 years. She was from Columbia. Sorry this is happening to his family it is really sad but it states he has been fighting for years why couldn't anyone of those groups help him? It's not all Trumps fault.

If he's the only person in his family who is not a citizen, then WHY isn't he? The opportunities are there for immigrants who really want to be a part of the country to avail themselves of.

The JG in the court case you cite is a different man. It says THAT JG "became a lawful permanent resident of the US (Green Card) in 1995." The JG in the USA Today story was 16 yrs old in 1995 & was not eligible to get a GC, & never had 1. U are the 1 posting misleading content.

hypothetically, if agree with you with things we can prove with both sources. Convenient that both person was issued deportation orders in 2005, both deportation filing finalized 2009, both had a lawyer (woman) who they claimed screwed up, both live in the same place.

both had to go to the 6th district court of appeals, yet with the date range given and crime (deportation) only one comes up with JUSTIA search. There’s only 1 case file that comes up.

the only way there could be an error is if, the news media is covering up his real name (alias) either way he will have a court case. Fortunately there’s only one JG that was issued deportation 2005 in Michigan - wife admitted to it on the article.

another JG that was issued deportation around 2005 is filed on the 9th District court of appeals (california). The Crime is no better. so... if you want to prove me wrong.. find me a court case that says USA vs Jorge Garcia, deported just for being illegal.
