Why Mark Wahlberg taking the heat on this? He likely didn’t know Williams was paid so little. It’s the producers who knew about this compensation disparity and should be suffering the shame.

He did a Job & Got Paid. How does That make him the Devil? His agent is a Good Negotiator. @mrpford

He did right when he/his agent negotiated his. Nothing against MWilliams, but she/her agent obviously didn’t negotiate hers. Salaries are negotiable & it’s insulting to think that anyone should be paid because it’s today’s cause. If you want to be treated equal then act equal.

Don’t understand why it’s Mark Wahlberg’s responsibility to worry about what other people get paid. He made his own deal based on his worth, why is getting the heat? The heat should go to Williams representatives for not getting her a better deal

He isn’t responsible for her pay. He has every right to get as much as he can.

He shouldn't have to give up his salary to begin with because of her contract deal was different and nobody forced her to sign her contract. Now he's shamed for it? @aidybryant

Doing the right thing? He negotiated hard for his talents. Those that didn’t can learn and do for themselves. Too many whiner-victims. If you want more ask for it!

Why should he even have been shamed? He hustled for the extra $$$$$ and she stupidly did not. Is he supposed to fight for extra $$$$ for her, too? It’s sexist to think she needs a man to go to bat for her over something she should have handled herself.

How is the fact that he had negotiated a better contract not doing the right thing? Ridiculous to say capitalism is best but then cry foul when people use it to their advantage.

So what @aidybryant is saying is that everyone should get equal pay regardless of their talent or experience? So since I tell jokes at a party and people laugh, I'll come to @nbcsnl and get paid the same as you starting from day 1. SIGN ME UP for that logic! #MarkWahlberg
