Before they took office, President Trump and Vice President Pence struck a deal with Carrier to keep about half the jobs from going to Mexico.https://usat.ly/2mj99VD

Seeing how these are the jobs that were not part of that deal, this is a good click bait job

LOL. Guess they are collateral damage and just fu*k them. Rhe orange pos was supposed to save all jobs and create more. Anyone still supporting him should be ashamed.

No. If you were paying attention they never said they were saving all of them but saving what they did at that time was huge for those families and they were and are grateful. But let that hate flow because it will burn you up one day.

I believe this will go the same way as Whirlpool. Carrier will stay through the set time to receive all of their tax breaks and then leave. This is a sham. They stayed for the money not the worker.

Actually, they agreed to keep 1,000 jobs here permanently at that facility. This would technically be the last round of layoffs at that facility because they will be at the 1,000 employee mark. I live in Bloomington and the GE thing hit pretty hard there, but Cook is expanding.

I know they agreed. And they are putting $16 million into the company. I still don't know. Evansville was hit hard when Whirlpool closed. I don't see them staying for the long term.

It was a 10 year agreement to stay. Carrier in return got $7 million in tax incentives. Essentially they kicked the can 10 years down the road and then will close up shop.

We shouldn’t need deals. We were told time and again that once we lower Corp tax rates that they’d be investing in American jobs and keeping their business here. This is what astounds me about those who continue to buy the GOP bullshit tag lines
